Doppio Passo Primitivo
This bold red wine is produced in Puglia, Italy, by Doppio Passo, a family-run brand now in its third generation. The Italian wine is made using a double fermentation method, known as “ripasso,” where a portion of dried Primitivo grapes is fermented a second time on the skins.
The Salento region’s hot marine climate and cool night breezes contribute to the wine’s depth and softness. Primitivo Di Salento Doppio Passo is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
- Aromas of plum, blackberry, cherry and chocolate.
- Primitivo Di Salento Doppio Passo offers concentrated fruit with soft tannins and light acidity.
- Finishes smooth and rounded with a rich texture.
Pairs well with spicy pasta, roast pork and game dishes.
