Door County Coffee Bourbon Pecan Pie Flavored ground coffee is a medium-roast, small-batch blend that captures brown sugar, sweet cream butter, toasted pecans and a hint of bourbon in every cup.
This 8-ounce bag of pre-ground gourmet coffee is crafted from 100% Arabica beans and roasted in small batches by Door County Coffee & Tea Co. to deliver a consistent, dessert-inspired profile without the fuss of grinding. It’s designed for people who want an approachable, seasonally inspired cup that pairs well with quiet mornings, cozy afternoons, or after-dinner treats. The flavoring is blended to suggest the aroma and notes of pecan pie and bourbon rather than to replicate any exact recipe.
What flavor notes will I taste in this bourbon pecan pie coffee?
You’ll notice a layered profile where brown sugar sweetness meets buttery cream and roasted pecan richness, finished with a warm bourbon-like accent. The medium roast keeps acidity balanced so the dessert tones remain pronounced without overwhelming bitterness.
- Dominant brown sugar and caramelized-sweetness tones
- Buttery sweet cream and baked-pecan mid-notes
- Subtle bourbon flavoring for warmth and depth
- Medium-roast body that supports but doesn’t mask flavors
How should I brew this ground coffee for best results?
This coffee is pre-ground to a versatile medium-fine setting suitable for drip machines, pour-over, and standard French press with slight adjustments. Use fresh, filtered water and a brewing ratio that matches your strength preference to highlight the dessert-like flavors.
- Drip or automatic brewers: 1 to 2 tablespoons per 6 ounces of water
- Pour-over: medium-polish extraction with 200°F water for 2.5–3.5 minutes
- French press: use a coarser grind or shorten steep time to avoid over-extraction
- Serve black or with a splash of cream to emphasize buttery notes
Is this coffee made from high-quality beans and how is it roasted?
Yes — Door County Coffee Bourbon Pecan Pie is made from 100% Arabica beans selected for smoothness and clarity. Roasting is performed in small batches to preserve freshness and consistent flavor, with a medium roast level that brings forward the infusion of flavorings without overpowering the bean’s natural character.
- 100% Arabica for clean, balanced cup characteristics
- Small-batch artisan roasting to maintain freshness
- Medium roast to balance brightness and body
- Pre-ground for convenience while retaining crafted flavor
How does this flavored coffee fit into seasonal or everyday use?
This blend is built around autumn dessert notes but works year-round for anyone who enjoys sweeter, pastry-like coffees. It makes an inviting morning pick-me-up, a cozy afternoon companion, or a companion to holiday baking and gatherings.
- Perfect as a seasonal accent in fall or holiday menus
- Suitable for everyday enjoyment when you want dessert flavors
- Pairs well with pastries, vanilla desserts, and creamy cookies
- Convenient 8oz bag for trying specialty flavors without commitment
Who is this for? If you appreciate flavored specialty coffee and enjoy dessert-inspired cups with a smooth medium roast, this bourbon pecan pie blend offers an easy, indulgent option. It’s ideal for home baristas who value convenience (pre-ground), artisan roasting quality, and a nostalgic, sweet profile without having to bake a pie.
