Don Q 151 Rum (1L) is a Puerto Rican overproof rum from the Serrallés family. The front label identifies the exact bottle at 75.5% ABV / 151 proof, and this listing is for one 1 L bottle. Its high strength makes it a specialized, powerful mixing rum rather than a standard-strength sipper.
Don Q describes this expression as having vanilla and oak notes with a sweet, light profile. Those supported cues sit alongside the bottle’s unmistakable red label and prominent 151 designation, giving the rum a clear identity within the Don Q range.
Use it for carefully measured cocktail applications where an overproof rum is specifically desired. It can add intensity to tropical punches and rum-forward mixed drinks, ideally balanced with citrus, fruit, or other nonalcoholic ingredients. Measure responsibly, dilute appropriately, and keep this high-proof spirit away from open flame.
