Winery Background: Domaine Michel Gros, established in 1830, is a family-owned estate in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy. The Gros family has cultivated vineyards for six generations, emphasizing traditional methods and expressing the unique terroir of their plots.
Wine Description: This 100% Pinot Noir wine presents a bright ruby hue. Aromas of maraschino cherries, mulberries, and a hint of orange zest create a perfumed bouquet. The palate is sweet on entry, with low acidity, offering a fleshy and dense texture. While it provides immediate pleasure, it may benefit from additional precision on the finish.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with dishes like coq au vin, roasted duck breast, or mushroom risotto. These pairings highlight the wine's depth and character.
