Domaine Hudelot-Noellat Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2023 shimmers with an intense purple color and opens with a noble, highly expressive nose of dark cherry, wild raspberry, and violet. On the palate, this full-bodied Grand Cru reveals extraordinary depth, layering black cherry, dark chocolate, and wild berries with a silky-smooth, creamy texture. Perfectly balanced by crisp, lively acidity and fine, saturated tannins, it finishes with immense class and lingering hints of blood orange and fine minerality.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with rosemary-roasted rack of lamb, pan-seared duck breast with wild berries, roasted pheasant, or rich wild mushroom risotto with black truffles.
94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2023 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru opens in the glass with aromas of sweet berries, confit orange and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's a textural, creamy wine with ripe tannins and a spicy, perfumed finish.
