Domaine Gérard Raphet Bourgogne Rouge 2023 is a beautifully transparent, artisanal regional red Burgundy that delivers remarkable old-vine intensity in a lighter frame. True to the estate’s hands-off, ultra-traditionalist approach, this 100% Pinot Noir is fermented with indigenous ambient yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its crystalline varietal purity. It showcases a delicate ruby red color, releasing a vibrant, expressive bouquet of fresh red cherries, wild strawberries, and autumn leaves, effortlessly woven with hints of cinnamon, blood orange rind, and a light touch of forest earth. The palate is light-to-medium-bodied and incredibly refreshing, showing energetic flavors of crunchy raspberries and pomegranate jam backed by soft tannins and a rustic, mineral-inflected finish.
Food Pairing: This vibrant regional Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with classic roasted chicken, pan-seared pork loin, grilled salmon fillets, or a savory wild mushroom risotto.
