Domaine Faiveley Meursault Premier Cru Charmes 2023 is a luxurious Chardonnay with aromas of ripe pear, white peach, lemon curd, toasted hazelnut, brioche, and flinty minerality. Rich and beautifully textured, it delivers vibrant acidity, remarkable precision, exceptional balance, and a long, elegant finish worthy of this celebrated Premier Cru.
Food Pairing: Pair with butter-poached lobster, roasted turbot, seared scallops, creamy mushroom risotto, roast chicken, or aged Comte for an exceptional white Burgundy pairing.
95 Points - James Suckling
This great chardonnay marries exceptional freshness and minerality with the generosity associated with this famous site. Medium-bodied with excellent mineral energy that lifts and animates. The long, citrusy finish is very precise. Still quite young. From organically grown grapes. Fermented and matured in barrique casks, one-third new. Drink or hold.
