Domaine de Montille Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru
A Grand Cru Pinot Noir from Burgundy’s revered Cote de Beaune. This wine is crafted from the Clos du Roi vineyard, one of the most prestigious plots on the hill of Corton. A historic family-run estate dating back to the 18th century, has long been celebrated for its terroir-driven wines.
Under the leadership of Etienne de Montille, the estate has embraced organic farming since 1995 and biodynamic practices since 2005. The wine benefits from whole-bunch fermentation and careful oak maturation, resulting in a wine that is both expressive in youth and capable of graceful ageing.
- Aromas of sweet red berries, plums, forest floor and dark chocolate.
- Domaine de Montille Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru shows floral notes, briar, spice and chalky minerality.
- Finishes with firm tannins, vibrant acidity and a lingering savoury depth.
Pairs well with beef, lamb and mature cheeses.
