A rare expression from Tennessee's storied George Dickel Distillery, this 12-year Bottled-in-Bond whiskey represents the pinnacle of American whiskey craftsmanship. Adhering to the strict standards of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, this whiskey is the product of a single distillation season, aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
What sets this release apart is the extended 12-year maturation—far beyond the minimum requirement—allowing the whiskey to develop extraordinary depth and complexity. The result is a Tennessee whiskey that honors tradition while showcasing the patience and precision that define exceptional American spirits.
Dickel's signature charcoal mellowing process, combined with over a decade in new charred oak, creates a whiskey of remarkable balance. Rich caramel and vanilla notes intertwine with toasted oak, baking spices, and a subtle hint of the distillery's characteristic maple sweetness. The finish is long, warm, and satisfying—a testament to time well spent.
Tasting Notes: Deep caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, cinnamon spice, maple sweetness, dried fruit, with a smooth, lingering finish
Perfect For: Sipping neat, classic whiskey cocktails, or savoring alongside a fine cigar
Proof: 100 (50% ABV) | Age: 12 Years | Bottled-in-Bond Certified
