Double Aged, Portuguese Smooth
Dewar's Portuguese Smooth 8 Year Old takes the brand's signature double-aged character and finishes it in Portuguese port wine casks — adding a layer of dark fruit sweetness and gentle tannin that transforms the classic Dewar's smoothness into something richer and more complex. Eight years of maturation followed by a port cask finish produces a whisky that is approachable, fruit-forward, and deeply satisfying.
- Nose: Warm and inviting — vanilla, honey, and a gentle port sweetness with notes of dark berry, dried fruit, and a soft, warming malt character
- Palate: Smooth and well-rounded — toffee, dark cherry, and a gentle port-kissed warmth with a clean malt sweetness and an easy, fruit-forward character
- Finish: Clean and medium-length with lingering dark fruit, vanilla, and a warm, gentle port oak fade
