Dewar's 12 Year Old Double Aged is a smooth and refined blended Scotch whisky crafted from malt and grain whiskies aged for a minimum of 12 years. Produced by John Dewar & Sons, this expression celebrates the brand's signature double-aging process, in which the blended whisky undergoes an additional marrying period to create a harmonious, rounded character. Bottled at 40% ABV, Dewar's 12 Year Old offers an inviting balance of honeyed sweetness, orchard fruits, vanilla and gentle spice. Enjoy it neat, over ice or as the foundation of a premium Scotch whisky cocktail.
Food Pairing: Pair with aged cheddar, roasted almonds, smoked salmon, glazed ham or buttery shortbread. Its mellow sweetness also complements apple tart, milk chocolate and caramel-based desserts.
Tasting Notes: A balanced and approachable blended Scotch whisky with notes of honey, creamy vanilla, ripe orchard fruits, gentle oak and soft warming spice.
Nose: Honey, vanilla, fresh apple, delicate citrus and subtle toasted oak.
Palate: Smooth and rounded, revealing honeyed malt, caramel, ripe pear, vanilla and gentle spice.
Finish: Mellow and gently warming, with lingering honey, soft oak, vanilla and a delicate touch of spice.
