Privada Storytelling
The Delectados Orchid is a milestone in the legacy of Eladio Diaz, one of the most respected master blenders of our time. Long celebrated for his work behind Davidoff’s Connecticut shade expressions, Eladio steps into new creative territory here — unshackled, unrestrained, and inspired.
Crafted exclusively for Privada, the Orchid represents a rare departure from the familiar. Think of it as a message from the master himself, a telepathic connection to the backyard where Eladio smokes his own creations. With each puff, you share in his vision — a fusion of tradition and innovation that proves his artistry is as alive and evolving as ever.
This isn’t just a cigar; it’s a bridge between the decades of excellence that shaped Eladio’s reputation and the freedom of his independent era. It symbolizes a rebirth, a flower blooming in new soil — the Orchid.
Flavor Journey
The first third opens with cream, cedar, and a whisper of floral sweetness. Midway, toasted almond and cocoa notes arrive, accented by a gentle spice on the retrohale. The final third deepens with wood, earth, and a silky sweetness that lingers long into the finish, leaving balance and refinement at its core.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The Delectados Orchid belongs in Privada because it reflects everything the club stands for: honoring legends, embracing innovation, and curating moments of rarity. It’s not only a cigar but a piece of living history — proof that Eladio’s genius continues to shape the future of cigars, now on his own terms.
