DeKuyper Buttershots is a butterscotch schnapps liqueur, also called a cordial. It tastes like melted butterscotch candy. Notes of butter and brown sugar come through, with a hint of caramel. It comes in a standard 750ml bottle. It is bottled at 15% alcohol by volume (30 proof). That makes it light and easy to use. Enjoy it chilled as a shot, over ice, or in creative cocktails.
Buttershots is the key to the classic “Buttery Nipple” shot. That drink pairs it with Irish cream. It also works in a butterscotch martini or a caramel apple shot. It is quite sweet, so it pairs well with coffee or sharp flavors. Add a splash to hot chocolate for a cozy treat. DeKuyper is a familiar name behind many bar-staple liqueurs.
This liqueur is a great fit if you love sweet, creamy dessert flavors. It is an easy, fun bottle to keep on hand. Use it for party shots, after-dinner drinks or simple mixed drinks.
