This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.
Winemaking Crafting this blend starts with meticulous vineyard selection, ensuring Carménère delivers its signature dark fruit and spice, while old-vine Carignan provides structure and freshness. Fermentation is carefully managed to preserve the varietals’ distinct characteristics, with gentle extraction techniques enhancing depth without overpowering balance. A thoughtful aging process refines the wine, marrying plush texture with vibrant acidity for a complex, expressive finish.
Vintage The 2024 vintage in Chile was marked by a harmonious balance of warmth and coolness, creating optimal conditions for both Carménère and Carignan varietals. A steady, sun-filled growing season in Cachapoal allowed Carménère to achieve full ripeness, while Maule’s temperate nights ensured Carignan retained its freshness and firm structure. This exceptional year showcases the synergy of two distinct terroirs, crafting a blend that reflects both the richness of the season and the heritage of Chilean viticulture.
Pairing Logic This vibrant Carménère is a perfect match for richly seasoned dishes that highlight its bold complexity. The ripe blackberry and black pepper notes shine alongside grilled steaks, roasted root vegetables, and smoky, spiced fare. Herbs like thyme and marjoram will enhance its layered depth, while aged cheeses or umami-rich sauces bring out its smooth, toasty finish.
