Death Whistle Blanco Tequila is a striking, 100% blue Weber agave spirit produced in the historic Lowlands region of Jalisco at NOM 1439. Inspired by the eerie, ancient Aztec ceremonial "death whistle" used in pre-Columbian combat and religious rituals, this tequila is bottled fresh from the still without aging. It highlights the pure, unadulterated essence of Lowland agave, offering a heavily mineral, earthy, and rustic profile that appeals to enthusiasts seeking a traditional, authentic character.
Food Pairing: Fresh ceviche with lime juice, spicy grilled shrimp, jalapeno poppers, or authentic street tacos with sharp cilantro.
TASTING NOTES Crystal clear with brilliant transparency, featuring a bright, crisp, and slightly oily mouthfeel.
NOSE Forward and earthy, rich with notes of steamed agave, wet stone minerality, fresh-cut grass, and a sharp hit of green bell pepper.
PALATE Crisp and punchy, showcasing robust flavors of cooked agave, raw green pepper, and salt brine, balanced by a light natural sweetness and citrus rind.
FINISH Clean, short to medium, and sharply dry, leaving a lingering trail of earthy minerals and a potent black pepper kick.
SERVE Excellent enjoyed neat for an authentic tasting experience, or as a bold, herbaceous base for a classic Margarita or Paloma.
