Privada Storytelling
Crafted Legacy in Every Box Press
Derrame III clamps itself to your palate from the start—box‑pressed, resolute, and steeped in tradition. From its silky San Andrés leaf to the fifth‑year Dominican fillers, every element is purpose-built. Coffee‑tinged cocoa greets you first, then raisin sweetness and roasted nuts mature the profile, while a measure of spice knits it all together. Far from loud, it whispers of patience, care, and depth—a cigar that invites contemplation rather than applause.
Flavor Journey
First Third: Smooth and creamy—milk chocolate, espresso, raisin, and a whisper of pepper
Middle Third: Nuts (walnut/almond), baking spice, caramel, earth, and just a hint of leather
Final Third: Sweet spice returns (cinnamon/gingerbread), cocoa deepens, espresso lingers, finish is clean and warming
Why It Belongs in Privada
Derrame III is quiet prestige. It’s the culmination of Francisco Almonte’s decade-plus blending evolution—farm-aged filler, premium San Andrés Maduro, and meticulous construction. It's medium‑full without aggression, built for those who appreciate nuance beneath a powerful exterior. Limited to only 500 custom humidor boxes, it’s a collector’s dream and a Privada staple.
