Privada Storytelling: Bordeaux Inspiration, Cigar Perfection
The Davidoff Grand Cru No. 2 was born out of Zino Davidoff’s admiration for fine Bordeaux wine—and it shows in every inch. This cigar is measured, precise, and layered, much like a first-growth vintage. The blend leans into refined elegance, presenting a smooth, complex profile that whispers instead of shouts.
Its classic corona size enhances the relationship between wrapper and filler, giving you purity, balance, and clarity of flavor in every puff. It’s a slower burn than you'd expect from its ring gauge—thanks to masterful rolling and aged Dominican tobacco that delivers steady transitions and immaculate construction.
Flavor Journey:
-
First Third: Cedar, white pepper, and dry hay introduce the experience with a touch of cream
-
Second Third: Almond and herbal tea come through, along with a hint of fresh citrus
-
Final Third: Notes deepen into dry earth, smooth wood, and a lingering peppery finish
It’s soft on the palate but delivers complexity that unfolds slowly—ideal for quiet reflection, clean pairings, or refined rituals.
Why It’s Privada-Worthy
At Privada, we celebrate cigars with heritage and grace, and the Grand Cru No. 2 is a timeless example of both. It doesn’t try to impress with raw power—it seduces with structure and subtlety. If you appreciate finesse over flash, this is your cigar.
This is refined smoking at its most classic.
