Scotland's Most Sought-After Farm Distillery
Daftmill is one of the most extraordinary distilleries in Scotland — a working farm distillery in Fife that produces whisky only twice a year, during the quiet periods between harvest and planting, using barley grown on the farm itself. Founded in 2005 by brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert, Daftmill releases only a tiny quantity of whisky each year, making every bottle a genuine collector's item. The 12 Year Old Cask Strength is the distillery's most powerful expression: a single farm estate single malt bottled at natural cask strength, without dilution or chill filtration, delivering the full, uncompromising character of Daftmill's exceptional spirit.
- Nose: Elegant and expressive — fresh orchard fruit, vanilla, and a gentle floral sweetness with a clean, farm-fresh barley character
- Palate: Rich and complex at cask strength — ripe fruit, toffee, and a warming spice with a clean, precise mouthfeel and a depth that speaks to 12 years of exceptional maturation
- Finish: Long and clean with lingering fruit, vanilla, and a warm, dignified oak fade
