This vibrant dry red wine originates from the United States, within California and the expansive North Coast AVA. Cultivar Wine was founded by siblings Ginger and Jody LeMoine, who set out to create expressive, terroir driven wines sourced from premier California vineyards. Emphasizing sustainable viticulture and meticulous grape selection, the winery blends fruit from distinct growing sites across the North Coast to showcase balanced, fruit forward expressions with real complexity and sense of place.
Wine Description
This 2022 vintage presents a deep garnet to dark cherry red colour in the glass. The nose offers an inviting and aromatic bouquet of rose petals, dark cassis, and subtle leather, accented by a delicate touch of toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is juicy and approachable, delivering a ripe core of blackberry, black cherry, and fresh raspberry. Well integrated tannins provide structure and balance, complemented by subtle underlying notes of graphite and minerals that carry through to a long, clean finish. Crafted primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine carries an alcohol by volume of 13.9%.
