Description
Clean lines. Confident function. The Created Co. Nomad Flip is a fully ceramic-coated, double-wall vacuum insulated tumbler with a classic flip-top lid built for specialty coffee lovers who want pure flavor on the go — in a compact 12oz size that's perfect for your morning espresso drink, cortado, or small latte. Available in eleven beautifully considered colorways, each color-matched seamlessly inside and out.
The Classic. In the Size That Gets Used Every Day.
The Nomad Flip 12oz is for the coffee lover who pulls a double shot and doesn't need a lot more than that. Compact enough to slip into any bag or cup holder, substantial enough to hold your drink at the right temperature while your morning actually happens. The Flip Lid is the original Nomad lid: a convenient flip-top that opens with a single press and seals back down with a satisfying click. Effortless access, clean design, no fussing required.
Like all Nomad tumblers, the Flip features Created Co.'s fully ceramic-coated interior — eliminating the metallic taste that standard stainless steel interiors are known for. Your coffee, cold brew, or tea tastes exactly as it should: clean, nuanced, and free from any interference. First sip to last.
Why the Nomad Flip 12oz Stands Out
- Flip Lid — the original Nomad lid. One-press open, click-close seal. Simple, reliable, and leak-proof. The lid that started it all.
- 100% Ceramic-Coated Interior — no metallic taste, no lingering odors, no flavor transfer between drinks. The purest way to taste your coffee.
- Color-Matched Interior & Exterior — your chosen color runs seamlessly inside and out for a polished, intentional look.
- Up to 10 Hours Temperature Retention — double-wall vacuum insulation keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold, with zero exterior condensation.
- 100% Leak-Proof — close the flip and toss it in your bag with full confidence.
- 18/8 Stainless Steel Construction — durable, BPA free, and globally-minded.
- Fits in Your Cup Holder — slim tapered base designed for most standard car cup holders.
- Top Rack Dishwasher Safe — handwash recommended to protect the finish and extend lid life.
- Designed for Specialty Coffee — made by people who care as much about the vessel as what's inside it.
Made for Every Coffee Moment
- Lattes & cappuccinos — the 12oz is the ideal size for a standard cappuccino or small latte without extra room you don't need
- Espresso-based drinks — ceramic interior keeps flavors clean without residual bitterness or metallic interference
- Drip & pour over — holds a full 12oz brew at temperature while your morning gets going
- Cold brew & iced coffee — vacuum insulation prevents condensation and keeps things cold for hours
- Tea — no flavor ghosting between sessions; every steep tastes fresh
The Flip Lid Explained
The Flip Lid is the original in the Nomad system — and the most intuitive. A single press pops the top open for easy sipping, and pressing it back down creates a secure, leak-proof close. No twist, no rotation, no thinking — just open and drink. It's the everyday workhorse lid: reliable, fast, and satisfying to use. All Nomad lids are interchangeable across colorways and sizes, so you can mix and match with the Sip or Grip lids anytime.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the 12oz the right size? The 12oz is ideal for a standard cappuccino, a small latte, or any espresso-based drink where you don't want a lot of extra space. It's also a great size for drip coffee or tea when you want a compact tumbler that fits any bag and every cup holder. If you want room for a larger latte or cold brew over ice, the 16oz is your move.
What makes the Flip Lid different from the Sip and Grip lids? The Flip Lid is the original Nomad lid — a press-open, click-close flip-top design that opens with one hand and seals back securely. The Sip Lid is a 360° twist-open design for all-around sipping, and the Grip Lid adds a fold-up carry handle. All three are interchangeable across all Nomad sizes and colorways.
Why does the ceramic coating matter? Standard stainless steel interiors can impart a metallic taste, which is especially noticeable with lighter roasts or tea. The ceramic coating creates a neutral, non-reactive surface so your drink's true flavors come through with every sip — no interference, no residue.
Is it truly leak-proof? Yes — press the Flip Lid closed and it creates a secure, 100% leak-proof seal. Carry it in a bag, toss it in a cup holder, and drink with confidence.
Can I use other Nomad lids on this tumbler? Yes — all three Nomad lids (Flip, Sip, and Grip) are interchangeable across all Nomad colorways and sizes. Build the setup that works for your routine.
How should I clean it? Top rack dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended to preserve the exterior finish and extend the life of the lid seal. Avoid the microwave and freezer.
Does it fit in a car cup holder? Yes — the slim tapered base is designed to fit most standard vehicle cup holders.
Is this available in other sizes? Yes — the Nomad Flip is also available in 8oz and 16oz. All sizes use the same ceramic-coated construction and interchangeable lid system.
