Cream of Kentucky Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey marks the continued revival of a historic American bourbon brand, first introduced in 1888. Reintroduced post-Prohibition under the guidance of the Schenley Company with stunning artwork by Norman Rockwell (not present here), the brand has become synonymous with quality and tradition.
This bourbon captures the essence of a bygone era while incorporating modern distilling techniques. Under the expertise of Jim Rutledge, known for his role in redefining the bourbon industry, this release adheres to the "double-rich" flavor profile that Cream of Kentucky was historically celebrated for. The small batch approach ensures each bottle offers a consistent, high-quality taste that honors its storied past.
The nose is honeyed and slightly floral, and the palate follows with rich créme brulée, banana, and honeycrisp apple.
