Copper Moon Cold Brew is a 100% Arabica medium-roast, coarsely ground coffee blend formulated to produce a smooth, naturally sweet cold brew without bitterness.
Roasted in small batches from high-elevation beans, this 32 oz bag is ground specifically for cold steeping so you can extract dark-chocolate notes and a balanced medium body. The coarse grind, thoughtful roasting profile, and clean sourcing make it easy to prepare concentrated cold brew or a chilled ready-to-drink pitcher that keeps well in the refrigerator.
How does Copper Moon make cold brew taste smooth and less acidic?
Cold steeping extracts flavors more gently than hot brewing, reducing the acidic and bitter compounds that come out at higher temperatures. Copper Moon’s coarse grind and medium roast level highlight the beans’ natural sweetness and chocolatey undertones for a round mouthfeel.
- Coarse grind minimizes over-extraction for cleaner flavor
- Medium roast preserves body while muting sharp acidity
- 100% Arabica beans from 1200–1800m elevations deliver denser, more complex flavor
What brewing methods work best with this 32 oz ground coffee?
While formulated for cold brew immersion, Copper Moon ground coffee is versatile across common methods. Use it for concentrate-style cold brew, a French press cold steep, or even a slower pour-over for iced coffee when you prefer hot extraction.
- Cold brew concentrate: 1:4–1:8 coffee-to-water ratio, steep 12–24 hours
- French press cold steep: coarse grounds, plunge after 12–18 hours
- Hot methods for iced coffee: coarse grind works in drip or Chemex to reduce bitterness
What are the product’s key quality and sourcing attributes?
Copper Moon focuses on small-batch roasting and careful bean selection to preserve aroma and flavor. The coffee is gluten-free, allergen-free, non-GMO, mold-free, and kosher certified, offering a clean ingredient profile for everyday enjoyment.
- Hand-picked specialty-grade beans roasted in small batches
- Sustainably sourced from small farms across 17 countries
- High elevation (1200–1800 meters) for denser beans and complex notes
How should I store and serve this coffee for the best results?
Keep the 32 oz bag sealed in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness; reseal or transfer to an airtight container after opening. For serving, dilute concentrate to taste, add milk or simple syrup if desired, and keep brewed cold brew refrigerated for up to a week.
- Store in airtight container away from heat and sunlight
- Brew a concentrate for longer refrigerator life and versatile serving
- Adjust dilution and sweeteners to suit preferred strength and mouthfeel
Who is this for: Copper Moon Cold Brew Medium Roast is ideal for coffee lovers who prefer a smooth, low-acidity iced coffee experience and for home baristas who brew cold batches regularly.
