This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.
Winemaking The vineyard team managed canopy growth with expert precision, striking a careful balance between sun exposure and shade to protect the delicate fruit. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks with a thoughtful blend of native and cultured yeasts, encouraging depth without overwhelming the varietal’s natural character. Gentle extraction and a restrained oak regimen allowed the wine’s red fruit core and silken texture to shine, with minimal cellar intervention ensuring a true sense of place.
Vintage The 2023 vintage in Carneros brought a cool-climate growing season, with fog-laced mornings and sun-drenched afternoons that allowed Pinot Noir to ripen slowly and evenly. Consistent diurnal shifts throughout the summer preserved natural acidity while extending hang time, a hallmark of the year. Precision farming in 2023 focused on canopy balance to protect fruit from overexposure during a season of steady warmth and heat spikes. Harvested in early fall under ideal conditions, the fruit captured the purity and nuance that define this standout vintage.
Pairing Logic This elegant Pinot Noir shines alongside dishes that mirror its vibrant red fruit and silky texture. Try it with roasted poultry, pork tenderloin, or mushroom-based entrées to complement its pomegranate and cherry notes, while creamy cheeses and subtly sweet glazes highlight the wine’s soft vanilla finish. For a vegetarian option, consider caramelized root vegetables or beet risotto to echo its lush, ripe character and lingering fruit-driven finish.
