Cohiba is renowned across the land for offering some of the World’s most luxurious smokes and naturally with that opulent reputation comes a super-premium price tag as well. The folks at General Cigar have rectified that situation, however, by creating an authentic Cohiba cigar that won’t break the bank. Introducing the Cohiba for everyday cigar lovers: Cohiba Blue Robusto.
Honduran Jamastran, Nicaraguan Ometepe and Dominican Piloto Cubano filler tobaccos are paired up with a Habano binder and a Habano wrapper that both hail from the Olancho San Augustin region of Honduras to make the Cohiba Blue Robusto, a gorgeous 5 ½” x 50 stick that will deliver nearly an hour of complex cigar smoking pleasure for which Cohiba cigars have become so well known.
Assembled by General’s team of Dominican cigar masters in the cigar-making hub of Santiago, each Cohiba Blue Robusto offers up velvety notes of pepper, wood, earth and spice which ooze out of the medium-bodied smoke riding atop a delectably subtle creaminess throughout.
The Cohiba Blue Robusto may not be “inexpensive” by most cigar enthusiast’s reasoning, but it is most certainly a whole lot of deliciousness for the buck and delivers the legendary Cohiba experience at a most budget-friendly price. The Cohiba Blue Robusto is a truly stunning offering from the makers of Macanudo and Partagas that should delight even the most demanding of Cohiba fans.
