Privada Storytelling
The CLE Habano 11/18 is Christian Eiroa’s homage to his family’s enduring influence on Honduran tobacco — a pure expression of soil, seed, and skill. The name 11/18 has long been synonymous with the Eiroa legacy, representing a vitola invented by Christian’s father, Julio, for a cigar that would develop in stages as it burned.
In this rendition, the Habano wrapper brings bright spice, nutty sweetness, and an underlying creaminess that highlight the purity of Honduran-grown tobacco. Each leaf comes from the Eiroa family’s own fields in the Jamastrán Valley, the same land that built some of the most famous blends in modern cigar history.
This cigar doesn’t need flash or gimmickry — it’s confident in its heritage. Every draw reminds you that true craftsmanship lies in consistency, restraint, and pride in one’s own tobacco.
Flavor Journey
The first third greets you with cedar, roasted nuts, and black pepper. As the cigar widens through the middle, sweet spice and cream emerge, underscored by cocoa and faint citrus zest. In the final third, the flavor deepens — cedar returns with a richer body, balanced by smooth coffee and a touch of mineral earth.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada celebrates authenticity, and few cigars embody that more than the CLE Habano 11/18. It’s not trying to imitate Cuba or Nicaragua — it’s proudly Honduran, grown, blended, and rolled by one family across generations. This cigar belongs in Privada because it represents a lineage of quality and a standard of excellence that has quietly shaped the entire boutique cigar world.
