Pairing food and wine can be intimidating, and there are a lot of factors to consider when deciding what to drink with dinner. Thankfully the Cien por Ciento 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is dying to be paired with whatever you are having. The wine is deep ruby red and full of notes of ripe black fruit, balsamic, and spice that play especially well off of foods native to Mediterranean Spain. Our experts have found that olive oil and herbs bring out some of the secondary flavors. We have been pairing it with roasted meats to complement the rich velvety texture of the wine. So make sure to open this up for your next dinner party, it’ll be a guaranteed hit. And it is a hit with the judges—it took home a silver medal at the 2018 Monterey International Wine Competition the 2018 Critics Challenge, and 90 points and a gold medal at the 2018 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge!
