Chicken Cock Double Oak Kentucky Whiskey is a premium 8-year-old expression that exemplifies the art of double-barrel aging. This unique whiskey ages in used barrels for seven years, imparting a smooth and mellow character. To enhance its complexity, the spirit is transferred to new American oak barrels, hand-selected for their quality, and aged 18 months on the top floor of the Bardstown Bourbon Company's rickhouse. This final maturation phase allows the whiskey to extract deep flavors from the fresh oak, resulting in a robust and intriguing sipper. Bottled at 92 proof, Chicken Cock Double Oak offers a harmonious balance of rich caramel sweetness and smoky oak undertones, making it a standout addition to any whiskey collection.
