Château Larrivet Haut Brion is a prestigious estate located in the southern part of the Pessac-Léognan appellation in Bordeaux. Once part of the original Château Haut Brion domain, it became independently recognized in the late 19th century and has since built a reputation for producing elegant and age-worthy wines. Under the ownership of the Gervoson family since 1987, the château has undergone significant modernization, combining tradition with innovation to express the unique gravel and clay terroirs of its vineyards.
This 2022 vintage offers a deep garnet hue with striking clarity. On the nose, it displays an expressive bouquet of ripe blackberries, cassis, and violet, accented by hints of graphite, cedar, and toasted spice. The palate is rich and structured, showing layers of dark fruit, licorice, and subtle mocha, supported by firm yet polished tannins.
