This rosé wine originates from France, specifically from the Côtes de Provence region. Situated at the foot of the iconic Sainte Victoire mountain, Château Gassier has been owned by the Jeanjean and Gassier families since 2004. The winery's philosophy focuses on capturing the pure expression of its unique clay and limestone terroir through environmentally conscious viticulture and innovative cellar practices.
Wine Description
Chateau Gassier Sables d'Azur Rose presents a luminous robe with delicate peach and salmon highlights. The nose is elegant and expressive, revealing aromas of white fleshed fruits such as peach and nectarine, associated with citrus notes of pomelo, clementine, and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is round and balanced, offering a 'gourmet' palette of strawberry, apricot, and papaya supported by a lively acidity and a chalky mineral finish with accents of yuzu zest. This blend typically consists of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Vermentino (Rolle).
