The 2021 Château d'Yquem is a breathtaking wine with wonderfully subtle aromas of dried apricot, mango, fresh lemon and pear, layered with caramel, tarte Tatin, banana, pineapple, tangerine and other tropical fruits. Full-bodied yet remarkably vivid and compact, it combines impressive structure with a sense of weightlessness. Fine tannins are seamlessly woven throughout the palate, creating exceptional precision and persistence. Notes of sweetness, clove and delicate bitterness add complexity to the extraordinarily long, intellectual finish. Produced from a relatively small harvest with 148 g/L of residual sugar, approximately 54,000 bottles were made.

Medium- to full-bodied, it is ample, seamless and beautifully layered, with a deep core of fruit and a long finish defined by a delicate bitterness that perfectly balances its 148 grams per liter of residual sugar.
