This rosé hails from France, specifically the picturesque hills of Provence in the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation. Château Barbebelle is one of the oldest estates in the region, owned and operated by the Herbeau family for four generations. Their 300-hectare estate, with 45 hectares under vine, is dedicated to sustainable viticulture and elegant winemaking, reflecting a deep respect for Provençal terroir.
Wine Description
A luminous pale pink in the glass, the 2024 Cuvée Fleurie reveals an expressive bouquet of fresh strawberries, rose petals, and citrus zest. On the palate, it is bright and silky, delivering flavours of redcurrants, white peach, and a touch of grapefruit. The wine is medium-bodied with a fine balance between fresh acidity and a delicate minerality, culminating in a crisp, dry finish.
Food Pairing
Pair this elegant rosé with grilled shrimp skewers, Niçoise salad, or a goat cheese tart. It also complements Mediterranean mezze platters and lightly spiced Asian dishes. This pairing highlights the wine’s depth and character.
