Champagne Gosset Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut is a Chardonnay-focused cuvée created to highlight Gosset’s access to exceptional Chardonnay crus. The house avoids malolactic fermentation, preserving the grape’s natural acidity and the wine’s precise profile. Technically an Extra Brut style with 6 g/L dosage, this listing is for one 750 mL bottle at 12% ABV.
Fine, steady bubbles rise through a pale-gold wine. The producer describes a mineral and floral nose with white fruit, apricot, Mirabelle plum, lemon, citrus, quince jelly, honey, and star anise. On the palate, saline and iodine notes mingle with white flowers and a light toastiness, leading to a silky, harmonious impression with crisp structure.
Serve this crisp Blanc de Blancs Champagne well chilled in a flute or white-wine glass. Its mineral, citrus, and saline character makes it a natural aperitif and a versatile partner for shellfish, simply prepared fish, or fresh cheeses. Refrigerate after opening with a sparkling-wine stopper to retain its bubbles.
