This vibrant Grenache comes from the sun-drenched vineyards of southern France, specifically the Languedoc-Roussillon region, known for its old vines and Mediterranean terroir. Named after Félicette—the first cat in space—this wine celebrates curiosity and exploration. The winery behind this bottle embraces a modern yet earth-conscious approach, working with sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking to let the grape and terroir shine.
Wine Description
In the glass, this Grenache shows a vivid ruby hue with flashes of violet at the rim. Aromas burst forward with ripe raspberry, crushed strawberries, and hints of black pepper and dried herbs. On the palate, it offers juicy red fruits, subtle spice, and soft tannins with a supple medium body and a silky texture. The finish is clean and fruit-forward, marked by a whisper of minerality and vibrant acidity.
Food Pairing
Pair with grilled lamb skewers, Moroccan-spiced chickpeas, or a roasted vegetable tart. This pairing highlights the wine’s depth and character.
