Cascina Morassino was founded in 1984 by Mauro Bianco, and today his son Roberto Bianco runs the estate. The estate has four and a half hectares of vineyards, three and a half of which are located in the Ovello sub-zone and one hectare in the municipality of Neive, Cottà sub-zone. The Langhe Nebbiolo is a single-variety Nebbiolo made from old vines dating back to 1970, on calcareous marl soils at about 300 metres above sea level. It is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged 6 months in oak vats.
