Flavor, brewing & the story behind this coffee
The caramel provides a warm sweetness, while the rum and creamy custard flavors add depth. A final note of caramelized sugar completes the classic dessert-inspired combination.
The Story Behind Captain Caramel™
Every strong fire service crew has a captain they can count on.
A great captain leads from the front, makes difficult decisions when the pressure is on and looks out for every firefighter standing beside them. A captain is more than a supervisor—they’re a mentor, a teacher and the steady voice that keeps the crew focused when every second matters.
Captain Caramel™ was created in honor of those leaders.
Just as a great captain brings confidence and balance to every call, this flavored coffee brings several distinctive flavors together in one exceptionally smooth cup.
Freshly Roasted Crème Brûlée Coffee
We begin with premium 100% Arabica coffee beans, freshly roasted in small batches in Maxatawny, Pennsylvania. After roasting, the beans are flavored with buttery caramel, smooth rum, creamy vanilla custard and caramelized sugar.
Enjoy Captain Caramel™ black to experience the complete rum and caramel crème brûlée flavor. Add a splash of cream for an even richer custard-like cup, or pour it over ice for a refreshing dessert-inspired coffee.
It’s equally satisfying during an early morning shift change, an afternoon coffee break or a quiet evening at home.
Firehouse Coffee is owned by Mike Adams, a retired firefighter and MedEvac flight paramedic with over 40 years of service. Every small batch comes from our Maxatawny, Pennsylvania roastery. Meet Mike.
