The CAO Flathead Speed Shop V654 Crankshaft (6.5 x 54) offers a more focused, slightly sharper expression of the new Speed Shop blend. Wrapped in Ecuador Habano over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers, this medium-bodied cigar opens with notes of cedar, spice, toasted grain, earth, and light sweetness, then gradually deepens into richer tones of coffee and seasoned wood. The 54-ring gauge keeps the profile structured while still giving the blend room to evolve.
As a new addition to the Flathead family, Speed Shop was created to deliver balance, control, and consistency without losing the line’s bold personality. The Habano wrapper shifts the flavor profile away from the original Flathead’s heavier maduro direction and into something more nuanced, making this blend feel distinct rather than just a new size.
In the V654 format, the blend feels especially dialed in. The longer length and slightly trimmer ring gauge sharpen the spice, keep the smoke cool, and highlight the interplay between the wrapper’s steady strength and the binder’s subtle sweetness. The Speed Shop V654 Crankshaft is a strong fit for smokers who want a modern Habano profile with CAO Flathead styling—measured, flavorful, and confidently built.
