Cantina Giardino Drogone Aglianico 2019 is a dry red wine made from 100% Aglianico grown on 75-year-old vines in Montemarano, a high-altitude village in Irpinia, Campania. It is produced by Antonio and Daniela De Gruttola at Cantina Giardino, from hand-harvested grapes farmed on volcanic soils. Fermentation is spontaneous using only indigenous yeasts, followed by skin maceration. The wine ages in old chestnut barrels and is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfites.
