The Scorpion Fumas Connecticut Gordo showcases what happens when premium tobacco is given the opportunity to shine beyond the confines of a flagship blend. Crafted by the same artisans responsible for Camacho Cigars, Scorpion utilizes quality Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos that were originally destined for Camacho's premium production before being sorted for appearance rather than flavor. Finished with an elegant Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, the result is a cigar that offers the character, construction, and consistency of a premium Honduran smoke at a price that encourages everyday enjoyment.
The generous 6" x 60 Gordo transforms the blend into a cool, unhurried smoking experience. The larger ring gauge softens the natural spice of the Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos while allowing creamy notes of cedar, toasted cashews, sweet hay, light earth, and subtle baking spice to emerge with remarkable balance. Thick clouds of smoke and an effortless draw make this a cigar built for long afternoons, where patience is rewarded with a profile that grows richer and more nuanced as the burn progresses.
The Scorpion Fumas Connecticut Gordo is a reminder that premium cigars aren't defined by ornate bands or lofty price tags—they're defined by exceptional tobacco and the people who know how to blend it. Honest, flavorful, and handcrafted with the same attention to detail that has made Camacho one of Honduras' most respected names, it's a cigar that quietly earns its place in the humidor through consistency, craftsmanship, and genuine smoking pleasure.
