Camacho Cigars have long been recognized for capturing the essence of the Golden Age of Cuban cigars from times gone by. Now Camacho has done more than capture that essence, they have actually captured pre-embargo Cuban tobacco! Small amounts of the precious leaves have been blended with superior Central American tobaccos to create an unforgettable smoke.
The Camacho Pre-Embargo is a dashing 6” x 48 Toro lavishly adorned with a Jamastran Corojo 99 wrapper leaf. Underneath lush Honduran tobaccos are built around a pre-embargo crop from 1962 creating a rich, divinely smooth smoke that will ignite visions of ocean-side cabanas, dark rum and dancing the rhumba into the wee hours of the morning.
Once this over an hour excursion begins, thick earth, leather and spice flavors swirl across the palate while cocoa, nut and wood notes prance about the taste-buds with mischievous joy. What begins a medium-bodied smoke will develop more body on the final stretch adding an incredibly complex depth that leads to a long-lasting and immensely satisfying finish.
The Camacho Pre-Embargo cigar is indeed a rare breed that is an absolute must for any cigar-loving connoisseur, not only because it is infused with true Cuban tobacco, but because it is simply a great cigar. Don’t wait to get your Pre-Embargo cigar! Once the pre-embargo tobacco is gone, these beauties will fade into legend.
