If you appreciate bold, well-rounded coffee but need something easier on the stomach, this variety pack blends craft roasting and naturally lower-acid beans to produce a smoother cup. The set includes six flavors—Breakfast Blend, French Roast, Colombian Supremo, French Vanilla, Hazelnut Cream, and Southern Pecan—packed as 12 pods each for a total of 72 K-Cups compatible with Keurig brewers. The product aims to retain classic coffee character while reducing the acidity that can bother sensitive drinkers.
How is this coffee made to be lower in acid?
Cafe Don Pedro selects green beans that are naturally lower in acidity and applies a traditional artisan roasting process that reduces chaff and mineral-related acidity. No chemical additives or dilution are used; the approach relies on bean choice and craft roasting to keep flavor intact.
- Uses naturally low-acid Arabica beans
- Single-batch, artisan roasting removes chaff that contributes to acidity
- No added chemicals or watered-down flavor
- Stone-ground for fuller extraction and richer taste
Will these pods work with my Keurig machine?
Yes — the K-Cup style pods are designed to fit Keurig single-serve brewers and similar compatible machines. They brew like standard pods and are sealed to prevent leaking or loss of freshness before use.
- Compatible with Keurig K-Cup coffee makers
- Individually sealed pods for freshness and travel convenience
- Improved cup sealing to avoid leaks during brewing
- 72 pods per pack for extended home or office use
What flavors are included and what do they taste like?
The variety pack spans light to dark roasts plus two flavored options, offering a spectrum from bright morning cups to deep, roasty finishes. Each flavor is blended and roasted to deliver smoothness that highlights the coffee’s character instead of harsh acidity.
- Breakfast Blend — balanced, bright, easy-drinking
- French Roast — dark, smoky, full-bodied
- Colombian Supremo — nutty, medium-bodied, clean finish
- French Vanilla & Hazelnut Cream — sweet, aromatic flavored options
- Southern Pecan — warm, toasty nut notes with gentle sweetness
How strong is the caffeine and how bold is the flavor?
The pods use 100% Arabica beans and are not decaffeinated, so they retain typical Arabica caffeine levels while emphasizing a smooth, rich profile. To boost strength, choose a smaller brew size; for a milder cup, brew into a larger mug or add milk.
- 100% Arabica beans — balanced caffeine and nuanced flavor
- More grounds per pod for a fuller-bodied cup
- Adjustable strength by changing brew size
- Retains bold taste without pronounced acidity
Who is this for: The Cafe Don Pedro Variety Pack suits coffee lovers who want to enjoy a wide mix of roast styles and flavors but prefer a cup that’s crafted to be less harsh on sensitive stomachs. It’s ideal for homes, small offices, or anyone who uses Keurig-compatible machines and wants a convenient selection of 100% Arabica, artisan-roasted options without sacrificing taste.
