Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland — the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world, established 1608 — produces their 12 Year Old Single Malt as a step up in complexity and depth from the 10 Year. Matured for a full dozen years in a combination of bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks, then finished in port pipes, this expression adds a layer of dark fruit richness that sets it apart.
Triple distilled from 100% malted barley in traditional copper pot stills, the Bushmills 12 Year is a whiskey of genuine elegance — the house's signature honeyed smoothness deepened by twelve years of patient aging and a port pipe finish.
