Tasting Notes: reminiscent of kiwi, bubblegum, tutti-frutti flavours with an earthiness similar to beetroot
Brushfire Farms Prickly Pear Syrup is made with 100% handpicked Prickly Pear from South Texas. Brushfire Farms is a Latino-owned small business that takes great pride in making the best prickly pear simple syrup on the market. Picking these seasonal pears is no easy task due to the rugged terrain and dead heat of the summer. These native pears come from the Rio Grande Prickly Pear Cactus that grows by the natural sunlight and rainfall South Texas provides.
Prickly Pear offers a distinct bright fuchsia colour to your cocktails, and a sweet, subtle, earthy flavour that some liken to melon and kiwi. It is the perfect complement for the grassy/vegetal flavours of tequila and mezcal and plays well with other light spirits. Try it in Margaritas, Daiquiris, and Sours!
