Brucato Amaro Reserve Woodlands 750 mL brings bourbon-barrel depth to a California amaro built around elderberry, cocoa nibs, black fig and citrus. A full batch of Woodlands rests in a freshly emptied Evan Williams bourbon barrel, then blends with a smaller portion from intensely oaked micro-barrels. This Reserve expression develops the original amaro’s dark fruit, cacao and spice into a richer profile.
The result is a velvety, bourbon-laced amaro with layers of vanilla, caramel and warm spice. Coconut notes join the fruit and cocoa character, while a lingering finish encourages slow sipping. Barrel aging softens and expands the familiar Woodlands flavors, giving this reserve its own character rather than simply repeating the standard expression.
Pour it neat to explore its complexity, or serve it over a large ice cube to open its layered aromatics. Presented as one 750 mL bottle at 21% ABV (42 proof), Reserve Woodlands offers a barrel-aged take on Brucato’s California amaro.
