The Breville Barista Touch marries the programmable touch operation of a super-auto with the flexibility of a semi-auto in a compact, all-in-one machine. Its 3-second heat-up time; integrated conical burr grinder; and automated brewing supports mean you’ll be dishing out cafe-quality drinks in no time.
Features & Benefits
Wrapped entirely in stainless steel housing, the Barista touch has a vibrant and intuitive touchscreen display that gives step-by-step instructions for preparing a menu of 8 highly-customizable espresso and milk beverages, & the innovative thermojet heating system achieves brewing temperatures in just three seconds from standby mode. The integrated steel conical burr grinder features Baratza European precision burrs, 30 grind settings, and a hands-free dosing funnel which delivers a dose of freshly ground beans, ensuring you get a precise dose with no mess.
While brewing, the Barista Touch uses an automated pre-infusion to gently wet the puck before brewing at full pressure, resulting in a more complete extraction and reducing the likelihood of channeling. The PID-controlled boiler keeps temperatures stable, so you know you’re getting the best extraction possible.
When it comes time to steam milk, the Auto MilQ system delivers silky smooth microfoam perfect for pouring latte art with absolutely no work on your part—just choose between a wide range of temperatures and up to 8 different texture levels and the Barista Touch does the rest. For those hoping to practice their barista skills, hands on manual texturing is an option too.
Why You Should Get It
The Barista Touch is the perfect machine for anyone looking to learn some authentic barista skills with the safety net provided by automated brewing support. The intuitive touchscreen display guides you through the steps of brewing a variety of beverages, and the Auto MilQ system means you’ll get latte-quality microfoam every time. Couple that with the PID-controlled boiler and the automatic pre-infusion and you’ve got a machine that will have even the newest home baristas delivering cafe-quality drinks right out of the box.
