A new wooden humidor should be properly seasoned before storing cigars. The dry wood inside an unseasoned humidor can absorb moisture from your cigars, causing them to dry out and potentially affecting their condition and smoking experience.
Boveda 84% Humidor Seasoning Packs make preparing a new humidor simple and worry free. Place the Boveda packs inside the empty humidor and allow it to season for 7 to 14 days. During this time, the wood gradually absorbs the moisture it needs to create a properly humidified environment.
Once seasoning is complete, remove the 84% RH Seasoning Packs and replace them with your preferred Boveda maintenance humidity level before adding your cigars.
Use one Size 60 Boveda 84% Seasoning Pack for every 25 cigars your humidor is designed to hold. For example, a 100 cigar capacity humidor should be seasoned with four Size 60 packs at the same time.
LIFESPAN: Replace Boveda 2-way humidity packets every three (3) months.
ACCURACY: Boveda maintains inside relative humidity (RH) of +/-2% when using the recommended number of packets. Factors that adversely affect the expected results include a drafty humidor and/or extreme dry ambient conditions.
INGREDIENTS: Food-grade salt, purified water, and a food-grade thickening agent.
PRODUCT DIMENSIONS: 3.5"/8.89 cm x 5.25"/13.335 cm
