THE SKIN
Full-grain calf, soft and supple, with the fine even grain that takes dye cleanly — which is why calf carries the widest colour range in the Bosquet-Paris collection. Firm enough to hold the cylinder's shape, it gains a soft sheen with handling.
THE CRAFT
Built on a three-ply construction: the leather exterior over a structure of carton made rigid through a traditional process of bathing and drying, finished with a leather lining. The leather is flattened so each layer is very thin, and the borders are tapered so the single line of stitching — polyester, over-stitched with a rubber coating, on one side only — stays fine and discreet. The interior is lined in natural, plant-extract tanned leather that lets a cigar slide out without catching the wrapper, leaves no chemical odour and develops its own patina. The Bosquet-Paris signature is stamped in 22-carat gold.
THE FIT
Two individual tubes hold one or two cigars up to 58 ring gauge, each in its own sleeve so neither can shift or press against the other. 18 × 12 cm, Ø 2.7 cm, 130 g — sized for an inside jacket pocket, a coat pocket or a bag.
