Bonds Of London English Mint Humbugs are traditional British boiled sweets with a cool peppermint shell and a creamy toffee center, sold here as a convenient set of four imported packs.
These Humbugs arrive from the UK carrying the old-fashioned texture and flavor that made the candy a staple of British tea tables. Each individually wrapped sweet balances bright peppermint on the exterior with a buttery, soft-toffee core for a layered taste experience. The set of four is designed for sharing, storing in a pantry, or keeping at your desk for a little classic treat.
What do these mint humbugs taste like and how is the texture?
Expect an immediate peppermint hit from the outer shell followed by a mellow, creamy toffee center. The boiled-sweet exterior provides a firm snap before dissolving into the softer, richer middle, creating a contrast of sensations in each candy.
- Peppermint-forward flavor on first bite
- Soft, buttery toffee core that rounds the sweetness
- Firm exterior that slowly dissolves for lingering flavor
- Individually wrapped pieces preserve texture and aroma
How should I enjoy these Humbugs — with drinks or as snacks?
Humbugs pair especially well with hot beverages because the steam and warmth open the peppermint and toffee notes. They also make a portable, long-lasting sweet for short breaks, gifting, or as a pocket treat during walks and commutes.
