Bonavita model BVC2201TS
The Best of Bonavita, Thoughtfully Upgraded The Bonavita Enthusiast is the evolution of the brewer that turned a generation of home coffee drinkers into Golden Cup believers. Built on the same proven 1500-watt heating system and SCA-certified brewing formula as the beloved Connoisseur series, the Enthusiast adds a suite of genuinely useful upgrades without adding complexity. It's still a one-touch brewer at heart — but now it's a considerably more refined one. Available in multiple colours, it's the rare coffee maker that earns a spot on the counter as much for its looks as for what it brews.
Every Feature Earns Its Place The standout new addition is the removable water tank — a deceptively simple change that makes daily use meaningfully easier. Instead of carrying the entire brewer to the sink, the 1.2L tank lifts out cleanly by its handle for quick filling and rinsing, with built-in fill lines that also double as a guide for SCA Golden Cup coffee-to-water ratios. The wide showerhead distributes water evenly across the full flat-bottomed filter basket for uniform extraction, while the optional pre-infusion bloom mode pre-wets your grounds before the full brew begins — letting CO₂ degas and flavour compounds fully develop, exactly as you would in a manual pour over. A full 8-cup carafe is ready in approximately 6 minutes. One-touch descaling makes ongoing maintenance effortless.
No Warming Plate. Just Hot Coffee, for Hours. The stainless steel-lined thermal carafe with brew-through lid is where the Enthusiast's thermal version earns its keep. Without any warming plate to cook and degrade the coffee sitting in the carafe, the double-walled construction keeps your brew genuinely hot for hours after the cycle ends — without any of the bitterness that comes from a hotplate. The carafe lid, filter basket, and showerhead are all dishwasher-safe and BPA-free. SCA certified and ETL certified, the Enthusiast is the brewer for those who want pour over quality without the manual effort — and a machine that looks as good as the coffee it makes.
