Blue Spot 7 Year Old Irish Whiskey
After vanishing from shelves in the 1960s, the iconic Blue Spot 7 Year Old Irish Whiskey has made a triumphant return, much to the delight of whiskey enthusiasts. Revived by Mitchell & Son, this exceptional single pot still Irish whiskey is triple distilled and matured in an expert combination of bourbon, sherry, and Madeira casks.
- A bold and aromatic nose, opening with an intense burst of warming spices - ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Balanced by sweet dessert notes of banana custard, apple pie, and frangipane tart.
- It delivers a full-bodied palate packed with vibrant spice, featuring black pepper and Sichuan peppercorns for a lively kick.
- The finish lingers beautifully, offering a milk chocolate creaminess intertwined with fresh fruit and nuts, rounded off by a subtle hint of rum.
Excellent pairing for a variety of dishes. Try cured meats like prosciutto or Iberico ham. Creamy texture and nutty undertones enhance the depth of mature cheeses such as Gouda or Comte.
