The Black Works Studio Killer Bee Connecticut Petite Corona (4.5 x 46) delivers a sharp, refined take on the Killer Bee concept, combining striking visual style with surprising strength and complexity. Wrapped in a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper accented by the signature barber-pole cap, this compact vitola offers a medium-to-full-bodied profile layered with cream, toasted cedar, white pepper, almond, and subtle sweetness. The slimmer 46 ring gauge intensifies flavor delivery, proving that Connecticut-wrapped cigars don’t have to be mild or boring.
Black Works Studio, founded by James Brown, is known for pushing creative and blending boundaries while maintaining meticulous construction standards. The Killer Bee series exemplifies that rebellious spirit—bold design, unapologetic flavor, and small-batch craftsmanship. The Connecticut version adds contrast to the line, pairing elegance and aggression in a way few cigars manage to pull off successfully.
In the Petite Corona format, the Killer Bee Connecticut burns clean and focused, producing dense, aromatic smoke and a crisp flavor progression. Creamy sweetness leads early, followed by growing spice and deeper wood tones as the cigar develops, finishing long and assertive for its size. Construction remains excellent, with a steady burn and effortless draw throughout.
Ideal for smokers who enjoy nuance with an edge, the Black Works Studio Killer Bee Connecticut Petite Corona offers a bold reinterpretation of a classic wrapper—compact, stylish, and far more powerful than its appearance suggests.
